Interesting facts

Annealing – type of thermal metal and alloy processing, mainly of steels and cast irons consisting of heating to the defined temperature, keeping it, and following, typically slow cooling.
At annealing, the processes of reversing (metal relaxing), re-crystallization and homogenization take place. The goal of annealing is t lowering hardness to achieve higher malleability, structure improvement and increasing better uniformity of metal and relieving the inner stress.
